As Thailand’s first shower enclosure manufacturer since 1993, ShowerKing has been aware that the main problem all customershave in common is how to maintain the glass to look clean and spotless. With our Research & Development team’s continuous work and a grant by the National Innovation Agency (NIA), ShowerKing becomes the world’s 1st shower enclosure manufacturer to successfully coat our glass with Teflon, giving it the hydrophobic property. Besides providing maximum cleanability, this innovation yields more than 10,000 rounds* of cleaning durability.

Technical Information
The surface of UltraGuard coated glass is hydrophobic (water repellent). Scientifically on such surface the water contact angle will be larger than 90 degrees thus making the shape of water round and roll easily similar to water droplets on lotus leaves. UltraGuard-coating is chemically stable and durable in various conditions. It is widely used in aviation and space industries for its stability and durability. This is the first time that UltraGuard-coating is commercially used on shower enclosure glasses.
